This privacy policy describes the personal data that Ad Scientiam (hereinafter referred to as "Ad Scientiam", "we", "us" or "our") collects, how we use this data, and the options you have to access, rectify or delete this data.
Scope
This privacy policy applies only to the MS-Copilot promotional website. It does not apply to data processing carried out through the MS-Copilot® product. If you would like information on how your data is processed through the MS-Copilot® product itself, please refer to the following privacy policies:
- If you are a patient: see the patient privacy policies
- If you are a healthcare professional: see the HCP privacy policies
If we make changes to this Policy that we believe will have a significant impact on the confidentiality of your personal data, we will notify you without delay (and, where appropriate, obtain your consent), and we will post the updated Policy on this website, specifying the effective date of these changes.
1. Data processing for site protection
To ensure the proper functioning and security of our site, and in particular to protect it against bots and abuse, we use the services of Friendly Captcha, which acts as a subcontractor. This processing is based on our legitimate interest.
In this context, the following data about you may be collected:
- Connection data: such as HTTP request data, IP address stored in hashed form that does not allow us or Friendly Captcha to directly identify you; technical information on how a connection was established between the browser and the Friendly Captcha server, network statistics.
- Environmental data: browser properties and settings (e.g., preferred language, installed fonts, local time), device data (e.g., available memory, screen resolution, operating system), technical data related to program code execution (e.g., error codes, browser events).
- Interaction data: timing, frequency, and statistics of keystrokes (without allowing conclusions to be drawn about specific text inputs, e.g., by only considering function keys such as Enter or Delete); scrolling and mouse movements; window adjustments, e.g., resizing.
- Functional data: data relating to the version, state and configuration of the protection software, software components used, random metrics (e.g., session ID), technical counters (e.g., number of repeated login attempts), data on the execution of the program code, puzzle solutions.
They will only be accessible via Friendly Captcha, its internal teams, and its subsequent subcontractors. Ad Scientiam will only have access to anonymised aggregated reports. IP addresses are only stored in hashed form. If personal data is stored, it will be deleted within 30 days.
For more information on how your data is processed for website protection, please read the privacy policy of Friendly Captcha:
https://friendlycaptcha.com/legal/privacy-end-users/2. Data processing for healthcare professionals requesting a demonstration
Through the website, Ad Scientiam offers a contact form for healthcare professionals so that you can request a demonstration of the product, via the "Request a demo" button.
In this context, we collect the following data as part of pre-contractual measures:
- Name, surname
- Professional email
- Medical specialty
- Subject of your request
- Free message
Attention: The form must not contain any patient health data. If such data is submitted, it will be processed solely to fulfil the request and deleted as soon as possible.
This data will be made accessible to authorised internal teams at Ad Scientiam, and to its subcontractors. They will be kept in active database for the time necessary to process the request, then kept for commercial follow-up purposes for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact.
This data will be processed and hosted by our subcontractor Zendesk in the United States. This transfer is governed by an adequacy decision (Article 45 of the GDPR) as Zendesk is registered under the European Union–United States Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
3. Data processing for website audience measurement
In order to monitor the use, reach and effectiveness of the website, and to make improvements based on concrete data regarding performance, accessibility and relevance, Ad Scientiam has implemented the audience measurement tool Countly Analytics. Ad Scientiam acts as Data Controller and uses Countly Analytics as Data Processor. For this purpose, we collect your consent during your first visit to the website.
The following data is then collected:
- Approximate geolocation (country, city) via your (hidden) IP address
- User events
- Time zone
- Processing time
- Device information (operating system, OS version, screen size and density, browser, browser version, device model, device type, device manufacturer, regional settings, screen orientation)
- Sessions (duration and frequency)
- Active users (new/returning)
- Page views / time spent on page
- Entrances and exits
- Scrolling depth
This data is only accessible through Countly Analytics. Ad Scientiam only has access to reports generated by this solution, which contain only aggregated data, and never has access to audience metrics at the individual user level. Countly retains audience measurement data for a period of 6 months in the United Kingdom, a country whose legislation has been deemed adequate by the European Commission.
4. Your rights
You have certain rights under certain conditions, and in particular:
- The right to access information concerning you, in particular to verify its accuracy;
- The right to rectify, complete or update it;
- The right to request the erasure of your data;
- The right to limit the processing of your data, that is to say, to temporarily block the use of your data;
